June 24 through July 25: State of the Union
(reception June 24, 6 pm - 9 pm)
A poetic installation about the tragic condition of social and political dialogue in the United States in 2010. Featuring actual American flags, and painted depictions thereof.

July 29 through August 22: The Little People from Somewhere Else
(reception July 29, 6 pm - 9 pm)
A show populated by tiny people and imaginary creatures, inhabiting a sprawling Busby Berkeley-esque set. Folk art mixed with illustration in real and unreal landscapes.

August 26 through Sept 26: Drawing Marathon Results
(reception Aug 26, 6 pm - 9 pm)
An overnight drawing marathon will be held at Bascom Lodge, Monday August 2, starting at 8 pm, running to 8 am the following morning. Artists are encouraged to bring materials, coffee, wine, and energy. The results will be curated and shown at the gallery, in a show opening August 26 and running through September.

Sept 30 - Oct 24: North Adams Makeover
(reception Sept 30, 6 pm- 9 pm)
North Adams’ physical downtown is a highly dysfunctional space. This contributes to social dysfunction and prevents positive growth. How would you re-design and improve the city? We have our ideas, and throughout the summer we’ll be working from city plans to re-envision North Adams as the ideal of a very small city in a rural setting. You may enjoy the results at the exhibition. You may also pick up a blank city plan over the summer, and develop your own ideal. Who knows? We might include it in the exhibition.
